The Maple Leaf Tavern - Wilmington

we visited and ate here 2 nights in order. eating and waiting staff was excellent and the bar manager was on site and took care of us.

this is a small but beautiful place in wilmington. let me begin by saying one......IOU have to eat here! I had the fillet mignon and it was the best steak I ever had in my 42 years! it is simply melted in my mouth. it was so delicate that I could cut it with only the weight of the measurer and I could move it back and forth without additional pressure! total this place deserves 10 stars! I've known I've been back every time!

very clean restaurant/lounge. I highly recommend when you happen though wilmington stop for a quality eating experience.

I've been here many times. beer is cold and the gracious portions of foods have always been delicious. definitiw a place in the center of wilmington.

If you like being ignored and feeling unwelcomed this is the place to be. Our waitress walked off the job in the middle of serving us our meals. She literally left the restaurant, got in her car, and drove away. Management was aware how bad the service was. Instead of trying to fix their mistakes, they decided to cut their losses and rush us out as fast as possible. It also wasn't busy with about a quarter of the tables in the restaurant occupied during our visit.

People, food and beer were all good. Recommend.

Enjoyed my lobster Mac n cheese. Nice environment and it's in a good area.

A great dinning experience. The setting is pleasant, friendly staff and a good location in town. I had the salmon and it was excellent, much better than I expected. I would go back.
