Dio Modern Mediterranean - Tampa

Great place to scratch this itch for Mediterranean food. The gyro plate was great! Super generous portions and everything was delicious. The maize remover was good. I wouldn't hesitate to get something back!

Yes I recommend this restaurant the food is delicious and authentic. Our waitress Joy was very pleasant, she took customer service to another level. I enjoyed my time I will visit this restaurant soon. I recommend fried the Red Snapper!

I went to Dio with some friends out on a girl's night. This is the first time I heard Dio or ate here. We ate outside and had Greek salads with cocktails. Inside there are restaurants. It's also a great place to bring your dog like my friend since we could sit outside. After dinner, we decided to smoke some hookah. Dio has plastic inserts for the Hookah tube, so everyone gets their own mouthpiece. All in all the weather was fantastic, the food was delish and the atmosphere was wonderful, a certain must try!

DIO with toddlers for lunch. I have heard so much about this restaurant, we had to visit as we absolutely love Mediterranean food. On Sunday it was moderately busy. We decided to sit outside, no waiting times, a waitress came by and greeted us cordially. We ordered according to the recommendation of the staff, we got the hummus to start, lamb gyro with salad and pancetta sandwich with frits, our toddlers 2 3 shared a child lamb gyro with frits that was more than enough, a cocktail and a Stella obviously to wash it. Everything was served within a reasonable time frame, exact temperature, presentation was authentic, food was delicious, we even took our remains. The atmosphere was decent, city views and modern music. The waitress Bar staff were amazing absolute Babes! I was in several Mediterranean countries, I would recommend. We're Dio again!

Had a great time here. This was our first time visiting the location. The food, drinks, hookah and the vibe was all truly amazing. Would love to come back and visit.

Came to Dio for a girl’s night out! Heard about Dio from friends and have been wanting to try it out. They have live entertainment such as Belly dancing around 10:00pm every Friday and Saturday nights. So if you plan to be there for their entertainment, book a later time for dinner. You can also smoke hookahs here if you wish to. Our waitress was attentive and very nice, the food was great and flavorful. My girlfriends and I had a great time, and they were very happy with my choice of place for our night out!! The vibes of the whole place was hot and pumping, go check it out for your next gathering.

We had my daughter Kayla’s graduation party at Dio, which also is where she works. Jade was our waitress and was absolutely amazing! It was such a fun place with dancers and the music was on point and the food was excellent! Special thank you to everyone at Dio for making Kayla feel special! I can’t wait to come back and dance and eat some more!

Fun atmosphere and very clean inside AND outside. The staff is very professional and knowledgeable about menu choices. Unfortunately I can't remember our servers name but she was helpful and knew her stuff. I couldn't choose what drink we wanted so she offered me her favorites up to us explaining what is in each. We chose Mediterranean nights and dio mojito (dio mojito is better) we chose the popular appetizer option of octopus which is extremely tender includes onions and Cilantro on top and is so extremely flavorful it makes your taste buds burst! For our entre my husband ordered the grilled red snapper with cucumber salad(sides are already paired with entre) and it is legitimately a WHOLE ENTIRE SNAPPER it is HUGE. Not fishy tasting at all to us (but we love seafood) Deliciously seasoned and definitely recommended. I ordered the lamb chops medium rare (3 are included with asparagus and thick potatoes fries) I was super nervous about ordering them because it's a hit or miss for me and these lamb chops are a total hit! I would order this 100 times over. Absolutely perfect. The flavor is amazing on everything the presentation is beautiful and well thought out!! Our server was super friendly and checked on us just enough so that we never needed anything or went without but not so much where it was annoying or pestering. There's indoor and outdoor seating music and people everywhere (we sat outside) there's also the option to use hookahs while your there but we did not inquire about that. The prices are high but the portions are small to average sized. We are stuffed and I took home a whole lamb chop. For 2 adults 4 drinks 1 appetizer 2 entre is was 170 then add included gratuity (20 percent) tax plus your tip. Our total was about 250.
