this place is great! they are not only vegan, but offer many options for vegans. they have a ton of mischins to choose from like the standard, nuts, chalks and even exotic aromas such as yellow curry, ingwer, kartoffel sticks, ube, rosenwasser, tamarinde and more! as it works, you start with a vegan coconut-based scoop ice base (chocolate or vanille.) you choose your mix ins and toppings, then everything gets into a machine that tears it all together and comes to serve as a soft one. from there you can add additional toppings such as (dairy free) chocolate syrup or erdnus butter sauce. it has been fun to see everything together and wish that there was something like that in chicago. I really appreciate the creativity and the vegan (and gluten-free) options that are clearly marked on the menu.

Carne Chophouse

Today my first visit to this historic, well preserved building was. The stunning vaulted ceilings with amazing detailed medallions and beautiful chandeliers was something to see. We started our meal with the roasted shrimp beaker. The shrimps were perfection! Lightly broken and fried golden, they were outside and juicy inside. Did I mention that they were huge?! It was four in my party. Three of us ordered the fried cod, French fries for 2 orders and broccoli for the other. The broccoli was slightly sown with garlic and was amazing. The French pommes were out and in flesh. The code was heavenly! Two large filets crushed and fried to crunchy. The fish was tasty, tender and tasty. Our fourth person ordered the main rib with beans and rice. He ran the whole meal over the main rib and beans. He didn't care about the rice, but it could have been a free day. He also got the French onion soup that was quickly discarded. You have big drinks specialties, including $3 martinis. Carne Chophouse is a must to visit. Great food and incredible historic buildings. I know I'm back.

Horrible customer service! The manager speaks to you looking to the side, no eye contact, rude remarks and comments!! Walked out in a bad mood. Horrible food!! I wish I could post a picture of the spinach that was served in my chopped salad, soggy! Very bad quality!! Sad to know this is being served at an international restaurant.. I eat there on 01/04/16 @1pm in case anyone capable of doing anything about this is interested in taking action..
