I tried frankie on the basis of online reviews and was not disappointed! I wasn't sure I could get in as it was Mother's weekend, but they pushed me in the bar where I got great service despite their absolute slander. Despite the amount, the kitchen got my order quite fast, and I was very satisfied with the great homemade taste of Ragù in my pasta dishes. were generous, but not exaggerated; I wish they had been smaller so I had a place for one of their desserts that looked amazing! I will definitely return to my next trip to the opposite!

my man and I are gone for a mother's day weeks with our mothers, we all live in leland nc. we decided last night to dinner after franks. it was muded! Motherday, graduationsproms (fortunately we made a reservation. they ran behind and the hostess was very honest that there would be a waiting time, and there was good 20-30 minutes. the host has updated us through the waiting period. she was very busy, but never forget about us or lost her cool as the people just came in. as soon as we sat, our server (2) we are on the ball. eating was amazingly amazing from beginning to end (my mother and I are originally from ny and it was the best Italian eating that we had in some time the personal was amazing what made the experience even better. great atmosphere, amazing service and amazing eating are not easy to come to these days. many thanks for a perfect Mother's Day meal.

frankie is a great little place with ingenious dining and atmosphere. the aubergine sizilian was the best I ever had. my man and friend ate every bit of the tasty chicken and calf. during the whole meal we were entertained by the very talented piano player! worth a visit!

My wife and I went on a Friday night in mid-March, had about a 20=minute wait. They do take reservations, didn't think we'd need them at this time of year. First to the table was the bread, which I thought was the best part of the meal. Very fresh and crispy. My wife had minestrone and I had pasta fagioli soup, which came with the dinner. Both good. I had cheese ravioli bolognese, but it was just okay. The ravioli was a little heavy, and the bolognese sauce was not as meaty as I usually see. My wife had a spinach salad with chicken, and enjoyed it. Our service was fine, and a gentleman brought excellent dinner music on the piano. One of the better dinners in Maggie Valley, not a culinary destination.

Next time will request the main dining area. We had reservations and were seated in the bar area. Entirely too loud. We’re seated and told she’d be back with a menu and it never came. Had to request it from our waiter. Apparently they ran out. Ordered a tea and after 10 minutes still didn’t have it. Bread had already came to the table and our soup and salad. I had to ask for that too, the tea. My friend asked for a cup of ice and the waiter brought a small cup with about a third of it filled with ice. Not sure why he couldn’t get ice. They were very busy and it took a long time to get our pizza. Pizza had lots of cheese which I love. It was good. Would have liked more toppings. My friend had a salad that doesn’t have lettuce in it, feta, tomato, olives, etc with balsamic oil it was wonderful. Pasta Fagioli soup was good.

The staff at Frankie's Italian Trattoria are to be commended on their superb service and efforts to achieve the highest Customer Satisfaction! The food was amazing! Not one guest had a complaint. The service was impeccable! And the little extras, like the personalized party menus and our name on the outdoor sign, were over the top! Each little detail was handled professionally. Thank you so much for making our 50th anniversary celebration a wonderful memory!Regards, Donna and Tom

Just shoot me! I’m so miserable! My daughter, granddaughters, and I ordered a late evening takeout from ST. My granddaughters ordered personal sized pizzas (kids right??? . My 5 yo dove into hers immediately, but my daughter managed to grab a bite and commented on how delicious it was. My 12 yo was a bit wiser!!! She waited until my daughter and I opened our variety of boxes and containers and decided to sample everyone else’s before unboxing her own pizza. She sampled her mom”s pork chops first and declared them scrumptious, then baked potato salad, in which she “sampled” about a dozen bites. Then she tried my grilled BBQ chicken, topped with sautéed onions, bacon, cheese, and scallions, which was also the largest chicken breast serving I’ve ever seen! She commented on how good it was, and then over comes my daughter who declares, “it is the most moist chicken breast I’ve ever tasted!” Of course by this time, my mouth was watering! I had decided to eat my side salad first, which was fresh and delicious with homemade dressing and croutons. Not wanting to waste any of the salad, as i had already doused it in dressing, I continued to eat it. By this time my 5 yo was finished with her pizza and came over to get in on the chicken action. At this point I’m starting to get a little concerned! My huge piece of chicken, which I’ve only heard rave reviews from my family about, had diminished to about half its original size. I was finally able to devour the rest of my salad, and take my first bite. Their comments were understatements! It was the best piece of chicken I’ve ever put into my mouth! And, GOOD NEWS, I tried, but couldn’t even finish the large half that was left. GOOD NEWS, that is if I get to the refrigerator first in the morning! THE RACE IS ON! Southern Table, we will be back!!!
