the food was great and our chef (jacob) was super friendly and entertained with papa sweat. we were in the back room and it looked like the exhaust fan had not been cleaned over our table in a very long time. there were dust and fat strips that run out. our reservation was at 6:30 a.m., but the cook did not even come to the table until 7:20. also my man ordered icy and apparently the machine was broken and no one could find out how to brew icy by hand. they tried, but it was brown water. I feel like they could have looked at youtube. our waitress was friendly and above all about it. overall it was okay, but we were there before and had a better experience
our waiter. evan, was the best waiter we ever had in benihana. we have noticed in the course of the time that this special restaurant is very busy no matter which day of the week. evan ran from table to table figuratiw, not literally, but with such energy and a constant smile, and a happy word or two for the guests that it made our very long experience, very pleasant. it takes a while to get through the dinner lately. we don't go back as often as we were used to. evan was the star of the night. also, he explained my gluten-free options very thoroughly and help to calm my mind. thank you.
never back. we have set ourselves 25 minutes too late for our 5:30 reservation. when we had set ourselves, we were all alone in this cold overflow room. no other tables of people in there. that was just me. our waitress complained that she was there since 10:30. I had to ask for water four times. we celebrated my daughter four years old birthday. 180 bucks later. I will find a place next to this chain. only such a disappointment from the time when we left until the time we left.
our chef was very entertaining and our server was courteous.
Everything went great from reservation to meal and beyond, was a great birthday dinner for my daughter.
Beniana is always as good as you'd expect delicious, fresh food, friendly and engaging chefs, loud energetic atmosphere. Just be sure to make a reservation they were turning people away at 4:30pm! It was crazy busy.

We went to celebrate a birthday and had an awesome time. Our server was very attentive and nice. Deon was our chef and he was really funny and he made sure we had a good time. The food was delicious and certainly enough to have leftovers. If you go be sure to ask for Deon!
