Beautiful surroundings, friendly professional service and excellent wines

Beautiful tasting room, some very good wines, The gardens are beautiful. No food was served. Service and description of wines was very good. I especially liked that I could choose which 4 reds taste in red tasting. Tasting fees are wavy when you buy wine.

We were among the first customers, so the noise level was not a factor. We'd just eat. I would have rated food “not applicable”, but that was not an option. Overall, the experience was excellent. The French background music made us believe we were in Paris. Fine. The person who helped us was knowledgeable and tried to learn and share their enthusiasm for wine. Great.

Had a great time sitting inside for our wine tasting on Sunday. We each chose four wines and enjoyed them at a leisurely pace. My favorites were the bubbly the Royal Slope Cuvee, though everything was tasty. My only hope is that some additional plant-based friendly food options could be added to the cooler.

My partner and I went for a tasting in the summer time. We sat outside and it was beautiful. Our server was amazing and funny. We enjoyed our wines and took a bottle home to enjoy later!

We loved our time at Matthews Winery. The tasting room is lovely- the garage doors were open to the beautiful patio. The garden was beautiful. The wines were delicious, our server knowledgeable, friendly and kind. We visited another winery after our time at Matthews, and actually returned back to Matthews to end our day because we loved it so much. I will definitely be back!!
