eating was delicious, and a great service
the orange huh to go. when opening the container, I got a strong carbon-like smell. it turned out that there was a piece of orange bark that was burned to a crab, giving all of it a smokey taste. it was sufficiently sharp. I was hoping it would be a bit nuts. To-go bag had no serviettes or utensils and none were offered.
we love ocean and winters is happy to have such good Chinese food in our little town. we have tried a lot of their dressing but our favorite are sesam chicken, sweet and sour huhn, kung pao chicken, chicken chow mine and the hot and sour suppe. You can't go wrong here. the portions are large and you will probably have rest!
the one and only Chinese restaurant in winters and they definitely understand the task to deliver good ol' Chinese fondue! I had crashed into the little sweet city of winter in the november last year and let me tell them everyone knows, especially when they live there. I was there for about a month, and of course if I eat in a new city or city to goouod! I asked the locals for good eating in their small town and they recommended ocean’s immediately! Not only because it is their only Chinese restaurant, but how good they eat and the customer service! I came back in my childhood, totally get in the wall! the old school is safe, I knew that eating will be fired! I was at lunch on the first afternoon and was there. I ordered Mongolian bark with steam-free. it was great, it was made fresh and came out of piss hot! I also have suppe with my lunch. my only complaint about my court was that it had too much scaling and not enough meat. but that didn't mean to stop me from trying more hard! for the second time, I ordered to clean chicken over rice and omg soou goouod! the best I had in some years! and they also give you suppe! I know many Chinese restaurants do not make suppen for ordering, but ocean’s views are different on this aspekt and I am here for it! eierblood soup and hot and acid soup are always yum! customer service is always wonderful! they know their customers and they stay busy! especially during dinner, Friday evenings and I can only imagine how the weekends have to look there! a thing to know when they visit winter, many restaurants are closed on Monday, and ocean’s is also on this list! but this is worth waiting until Tuesday!
The food is excellent, great takeout. As for dining in, the place needs a makeover. Just being honest
Hadn't been here in years, actually forgot it was here. Being New Year's Day nothing is open, except Chinese, so we checked it out. The owner greeted us and promised the best Chinese food in town! And he was correct. Good food, all was very fresh made to order. Also the only Chinese food in Winters.
Best won ton soup in town especially on these cold days
We received an order of Egg Foo Young last night here in Montana. Our kids in Winters sent us this absolutely best foo young ever! I dream of the day we can travel again and go to Ocean for a full dinner. It is the Best!
