Excellent healthy food at a very reasonable price right at the corner of Santa Monica blvd and Hilldale ave here in the capital West Hollywood! They tend to be open up to 3AM with a crazy touch of costumers arriving from 1AM to close, with people need to be turned away because the city requires that they are absolutely close to 3AM. This place could work easily as 24 hours a day restaurant if allowed and should be given that no alcohol is served or allowed there. The service is by far one of the best, as many of their customers are regular, which appear almost daily. Some of the best vegetarian options are like their Falafel plate, which rival the best around. Obviously, the high standards of West Hollywood hold!

The gyro dish was absolutely delicious. Ingredients were fresh, everything I tasted was fresh. Cooks had everything clean well organized and friendly. The hummus was delicious. The managers were nice.

I have a friend who raves over the Halal Guys, especially every time she goes to work in NYC. While in the area, I wanted to take the opportunity to try it myself. I found the restaurant surprisingly quiet. I told the employee that it was my first time and he proposed the combination. I went with the cow/chicken Combo Platter. After his suggestion, I added hot and sweet sauce. The ingredients were really fresh. The meat was tasteful and combined with the hot and sweet sauce, the meal was very delicious! I can see why my friend loves this place. Great quick opportunity with a filling, but not heavy meal. Will definitely visit again!

Scale 0 10 Variety: 6 Service or Product: 8 Customer Service: 7 Environment: 5 Cleaning: 2 Washroom: 6 Costs: 8 While the food was quite good, the experience was somewhat obstructed by the lack of cleanliness in the restaurant. All tables were dirty and there were even coke spilt on the ground that the staff did not seem to care until we were almost gone. But it was clarified later.

Having heard of The Halal Guys for years in NYC. Was super excited that they had opened up a few locations in SoCal. I ordered the combination platter, it came w/ generous portions of gyro and chicken meat w/ rice, pita, lettuce, tomatoes and a ton of the infamous white sauce (or hot sauce if you like it spicy). There are 2 portion sizes, I opted for the bigger portion size (reg). Overall the food was good, the meats were cooked well (not dry), I understand why the white sauce is so popular (So good, you could put it on anything). The service was fantastic (they were generous to load me up on some more white sauce). Now the negative. The location was a pain the neck for parking. The restrooms were pretty filthy and it felt like a sauna in the dining area. It was 100+ degrees outside, was hotter in the restaurant, it didn't feel like they had air conditioning. I would definitely comeback for take out or visit another Halal guys location. 3 Stars.

Chicken and fries were good, rice was too dry.

As an avid chicken fan I was hoping this would be the perfect place for my late night drunk food. Wrong though, every time I go I am disappointed with something. Between the inconsistent mix of dry chicken and random portion sizes, last night my food was literally drenched in the sauce. While great in a normal portion it does not taste good as a soup.

Firstly, it was disappointing to receive one pita bread and a small container of hummus (less than 8 oz) for $5. Add insult to injury, my first bite of my plate included a staple that I luckily found in my mouth and didn't swallow. Halal Guys sold their soul to the corporate gods. Food also came cold and rice was hard.
