Vive La Tarte - San Francisco

the vive breakfast was beautiful (gecrambled eggs in a bowl with potatoes and delicious speck) and the coffee was delicious (sightglass drip) and my wife enjoyed their latte with mandelmilch and avocado breakfast blt sandwich. the pain au chocolat (selected croissant) was also a beautiful conclusion. sitting outside had limited chairs for the crowd, but was a nice place to stop and watch 24th hour traffic on sunny Saturday

the orange zest croissant impressed me too much! the personal was friendly and their baked were amazing

they love this place for their incredible coffee, baked, bread and eat. I recommend the breakfast sandwich and the avocado toast. I think the mandel croissant is the best in the city. there is an Aussie type that works there and the whole vibe reminds me of being back in Australia.

Orange blossom za'atar croissant is the highlight, super fragrant and not too sweet. Did the key lime croissant today too and homg, the filling was so smooth and flavourful, it was a meal

Love this place’s pastries, and we come here at least weekly, but the pace of service recently has been horrid. I tend to order online for pickup and the last 2 times we did that we’ve had to wait for 30+ mins after the latest pickup estimate, which is unacceptable. My order is always a handful of pastries, please tell me why this takes over 50 mins to fulfill.

Bread, pastries and coffee are delicious but staff is moody, often ignoring customers

Food is so-so. Not worth the hype

I absolutely can not believe I just paid $14+ dollars for single slice of toast with avocado and tomatoes on it. I don't care if it's delicious or not this is just a highway robbery. If I would have opened my to-go box when I was handed the order, I would have demanded my money back.Edit after eating my $14 toast: Meh nothing special. Never going back.
