El Mezquite And Grill - Riverbank

This Restaurant is great...was greeted immediately upon entering by a very friendly waitress..seated, and conversated with about the menu , order taken , drinks brought out with fresh chips and delicious salsa???? ...food was made to order very fresh and super tasty!!!...the atmosphere was nice and the establishment very clean, ...the portions were pretty large were worth every cent...and I hear they have live bands on the weekend...I'm definitely coming back again for that ...and a slice of churro cheesecake which was sold out!!!...

The food here was really good and satisfying. I ordered the California burrito and they delivered, the burrito seems small but it's all packed in so it really fills you up and it's full of flavor. Also had a quesobirria taco and these are definitely worth ordering, comes with consumé for dipping and green sauce inside. Would definitely recommend the quesobirria taco as I will be returning for these because they are hard to find around these parts. The salsa served at the table was a little spicy but somewhat tolerable because the spice creeps up on you and doesn't hit you right away.

So I ordered some sushi from them and tell you this that sushi tasted like they bought it from Costco or from another store and just added some topping on top and added a little sauce like really your a restaurant if your gonna put something on your menu at least make it there that sushi didn?t taste fresh at all rice tasted a little hard and there was barely any meat in the sushi no taste except for the little bit of sauce which they put on top and then they charged me as they were a sushi restaurant charges for 2 rolls it was like $55 like seriously if I?m gonna pay that much might as well say it?s not fresh at least or something or go cheaper on the price. Overall the sushi had no taste, parts of the rice was hard, barely any meat on it/in it, and NOT FRESH at all. I do not know if the rest of food but the sushi I would not recommend to anyone!!!

Food tasted good, but service and pricing were on the poor side. Wife's meal was shown aa combo on the menu, but because she did a mix and match on the enchiladas (one beef and one cheese) it suddenly became all a la carte and cost $6 more. Won't go back.

Nice place but food not good and way overpriced! For that kind of money I expected a fantastic meal. Was very disappointed. The meat was sour and the salsa was bland flavor and watery. They charge like $18 for 3 tacos! Way better food at the many taquerias nearby for way less money.

I will admit here that the food is really good. We?ve eaten here a few times and ordered them through DoorDash several times and it has never disappointed. They have a good mix of choices on their menu, customer service is spot on, and food comes out hot and ready!

The food and the service was great We were checked on about 7 times and we got our food quick In and out in about 45 minutes Great prices Definitely recommend

The staff is always so polite and friendly. They are also very attentive. The food was delicious and their cocktails are mouth watering
