I was taken out on my Birthday and the frozen margarita was divine. The fried pickles are amazing!

Picture is the prior location. They built a new place right on Main Street a year ago. Clean. Plenty of parking. New facilities. Friendly staff and owners. Reasonable prices.

Had the salmon and my brother had fisherman's platter. Both were good. Service not bad but server looked intimated by trying to give out food.

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. We walked in on Thursday at 6. Told we could pick one of 3 tables by the bar. We sat for 20 minutes watching a meandering young man who worked there wander through the dining room back to the kitchen, then repeat. We watched the waitress talk up patrons, except us. No greeting, no I know you're here. We grabbed meandering boy, to ask about service and he said he could bring us drinks. Finally waitress shows us to take our order. As part of my order, I asked for hush puppies to start. Meandering boy shows up about 15 minutes after we place our order to tell us there were no hush puppies. Excuse me? It takes 15 minutes to notice that A) I ordered them, and B) you don't have them? About 7:00, the waitress comes with scoops of cottage cheese and cole slaw for sides. This is about half an hour after we placed our order, and the first time we have food on the table. We finally got entrées, which were room temp. I asked for crab legs, and had to ask twice for a nut cracker to eat them. My melted butter for my crab legs and seared scallops was room temp sludge. Oh, I replaced my starter with fried mushrooms. We got them for dessert. If you want a timely, HOT meal in Mars Hill, go to Al's.Read your response to my review, ma'am. This is absolutely what happened. The waitress didn't have the courtesy to tell us she knew we were there. If she had just stopped by and said hi, that would have made a lot of difference.Meandering boy did wander, not accomplishing much. It really did take 15 minutes to let me know that there were no hush puppies, and my food was still not hot. Saying you're short staffed is not my problem, I commend you for caring about the kids. Give me a heads-up tho, as it was my first visit. All this is common courtesy. If I have to wait an hour to get my food, at least it could be hot. As to the nut cracker, common sense would say I should not have to ask for them at all. And as to the remaining hot food? There wasn't any remaining hot food. It wasn't hot. Oh, appetizers come before the meal. You have a good day, too.

Shrimp were tiny and had no flavor. They didn't write my order down and surprise it came back wrong. They corrected the mistake with what I ordered and it followed the average trend. Under staffed having only 1 waitress for 10-15 tables plus the bar.I had high hopes. I drove a good bit to try it out. Doesn't get a thumbs up or down. Just. Average seafood a bit overpriced

Nice place. Clean and friendly. A little slow service at lunchtime. My biggest point that made it be a 3 star is that we got lobster nachos and a 25oz bud light and the bill was $42.00! There was alot of lobster meat BUT the cheese was just shredded cheddar melted under a broiler all ontop of salty round tortilla chips. There is no nacho cheese sauce on the nachos. I saw others sandwiches and they looked good and the fries looked good too. So maybe if you stop here dont get the lobster nachos for $42.00

One medium sized room with a high ceiling. Staff is friendly and seems very busy. Clams are tasty and it's a good enough portion. Would definitely recommend.

Just shoot me! I’m so miserable! My daughter, granddaughters, and I ordered a late evening takeout from ST. My granddaughters ordered personal sized pizzas (kids right??? . My 5 yo dove into hers immediately, but my daughter managed to grab a bite and commented on how delicious it was. My 12 yo was a bit wiser!!! She waited until my daughter and I opened our variety of boxes and containers and decided to sample everyone else’s before unboxing her own pizza. She sampled her mom”s pork chops first and declared them scrumptious, then baked potato salad, in which she “sampled” about a dozen bites. Then she tried my grilled BBQ chicken, topped with sautéed onions, bacon, cheese, and scallions, which was also the largest chicken breast serving I’ve ever seen! She commented on how good it was, and then over comes my daughter who declares, “it is the most moist chicken breast I’ve ever tasted!” Of course by this time, my mouth was watering! I had decided to eat my side salad first, which was fresh and delicious with homemade dressing and croutons. Not wanting to waste any of the salad, as i had already doused it in dressing, I continued to eat it. By this time my 5 yo was finished with her pizza and came over to get in on the chicken action. At this point I’m starting to get a little concerned! My huge piece of chicken, which I’ve only heard rave reviews from my family about, had diminished to about half its original size. I was finally able to devour the rest of my salad, and take my first bite. Their comments were understatements! It was the best piece of chicken I’ve ever put into my mouth! And, GOOD NEWS, I tried, but couldn’t even finish the large half that was left. GOOD NEWS, that is if I get to the refrigerator first in the morning! THE RACE IS ON! Southern Table, we will be back!!!
