Dining options are limited when visiting Death Valley National Park particularly when the restaurants inside the park are closed or have limited hours due to Covid. Hence, we ended up here. Either due to popularity and/or lack of choice, Jack's was full Monday at 7:00pm on the night prior to us having breakfast. At 7:45am, people were already waiting for breakfast an indication that the restaurant should open earlier than 8:00am. We too, were there when they opened and breakfast took a lengthy hour which is too long to get cold hash browns, burnt toast with a scoop of whipped butter mashed in between, and tough eggs in an omelet with unevenly distributed ingredients. Additionally, the food was not seasoned. Beware of the screwball pricing where coffee is $3, a side of toast is $3, and an English muffin is $4, but a side of potatoes is $4.
