This restaurant in Park Ridge offers Turkish cuisine in a friendly, local atmosphere. My daughter, a vegetarian has introduced me to this restaurant during one of her stopovers from Northern California last year and I have returned several times as I love this food. If you like Greek or Middle Eastern food, this local little restaurant will not disappoint. If it is your first visit and you love meat try the Uskuda, lamb cubes sauteed wit onions, tomatoes, red and green paprika and garlic, with cut eggplants and tomato sauce with your choice of white rice or wort. Skip white rice and go to Bulgarian. It's great. For vegetarians, my daughter recommends the Falafel Special, which includes Falafel, Hummus, Baba Ganesh and a green salad. For an appetizer, definitely don't miss the zucchini pancake or homemade spinach cake.
